Obituary of Monica Jean Clubb

Monica Jean Clubb, 41, of Niles, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022, at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, as a result of a hit and run accident. She was born on September 29, 1980, in Niles Michigan to James Blackwell and Patricia White. Monica had a somewhat unique sense of humor at times. She enjoyed sharing the things that she found funny in a call or text. She loved animals, often feeding birds and squirrels. Often had a variety of pets from a bearded dragon, to birds, and dogs. There were two dogs that held a special place in her heart, their paw prints forever tattooed on her arm. Monica loved her tattoos and showed them off whenever she could. She was a great cook, and if you arrived hungry; you left fed. Monica enjoyed caring for her house plants, listening to a wide variety of music, and working on jigsaw puzzles. You would often find her relaxing by coloring in her color books. It is difficult to put a person’s whole life into words, those who saw past her personal struggles loved her unconditionally. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Monica is survived by her mother, Patricia Lewis of Niles; and her son Tyler Lewis of Niles. She was preceded in death by her father, James Blackwell; and an infant son Trevor. Cremation has taken place, as this time the family has not planned a public service.
