Obituary of Cory Brandon Boudreau
Please share a memory of Cory to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Cory B. Boudreau, 36, of Niles, suddenly passed away on January 26, 2022.
He was born in Berrien Center, Michigan, to Michael and Connie Boudreau on September 17, 1985.
Cory, otherwise known as “Cory B” was known to be large in stature but had the heart of a big loving teddy bear. A hug from him might have cracked someone’s back, but was as kind and genuine as can be. Cory had a soft spot for kids. He took pride in being the cool uncle that could pull a smile out of anybody. His friends would say that he lived life on the edge; he loved a sense of excitement, especially when it involved social gatherings or a motorcycle. By nature, Cory had an extremely charismatic personality. It didn’t ever take him long to make new friends, no matter where he went. He was an extremely hard worker his entire life, something that all of his employers appreciated. He always brought a lightness to whatever job site he was on, his sense of humor and positive disposition made even the hardest jobs feel a little easier. He started his working career as a service technician on air conditioning units. As his interest in machines grew, so did his skill in repairing them. By the time his life had come to an end, Cory could look at most machines, big or small, and fix them or put them back together. Heavy machinery was his favorite to work on. His talents allowed him to travel wherever a hand was needed. He found himself living in South Dakota, drilling wells and having the best time he could when he wasn’t working. Cory was certainly the “work hard, play hard” kind of guy and was the life of any party anywhere he went. A couple of special interests that Cory had included a game of chess and disc golf. He was humble about his chess skill, but in his younger days, he made it all the way to the finals of a chess tournament he entered. Although his life ended early, Cory did his best to live his life to the fullest, all while taking care of those in need. He was a great person to know and will be missed dearly by his friends, family, and all those he touched.
Cory is preceded in death by grandparents and extended family members.
Those who survive Cory in life include his loving mother, Connie Boudreau; his father, Michael (Julie) Boudreau; his sister, Heather Dopkowski; grandmother, Faye Johnston; and his niece and nephew.
The family will be honoring Cory’s life in private at a later date.
