Obituary
Obituary of Harold G. Lampman
Please share a memory of Harold to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Harold “Bud” Lampman, 53, of Battle Creek Michigan, passed away suddenly, of natural causes, in his home on Tuesday, December 28, 2021. This day also marked thirty-three years of marriage with his wife.
Bud was born on February 12, 1968 to the late Harold G. Sr. and Patricia (Youngman) Lampman.
After high school, Bud spent his life doing the things he enjoyed the most. Hunting was one of his main activities, and he would say he was good at it too. Fishing was another thing he would do in his free time when he had it. Bud spent most of his free time tinkering in the garage. He thoroughly loved the outdoors. While Bud loved riding his motorcycle against the wind, and spending time in his own thoughts, there was something he loved even more, and that was the moments he spent with his family. Those who knew him knew that there wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for the ones he loved.
On December 28, 1988, he wed Teresa Marie Akers in a ceremony that took place at Union City Assembly of God. Bud will be tremendously missed by Teresa, and will forever be in her heart.
Bud is preceded in death by his Father, Harold Lampman; Mother, Patricia (Youngman) Lampman and his Father-in-law, Patrick Akers.
Bud is survived by his wife, Teresa Lampman of Battle Creek; his children, Nicole (George) Face, Nathan (Kelly) Lampman, and Amy (Josh) Thatcher; His grandchildren; Zane and Eliza Face; Raven, Levi, and Bailee Lampman; and Noah Thatcher; a sister, Teresa (Greg) DeGraw of Union City; Mother-in-law, Sandra (Pa) Oakland of Battle Creek; brother-in-law, James Akers of Battle Creek; Niece, Kayla Hammonds and Nephew, James Akers of Battle Creek and many extended family members and close friends.
