Obituary of Alexia Chevelle Herrington

Alexia "Bunkie" Chevelle Herrington, 2 years old, of Galien, Michigan passed away at Lakeland Hospital in Niles on Sunday, July 8, 2012 with her parents at her side. Bunkie was born on February 1, 2010 to the proudest parents a little girl could have, Jimmy and Ericka (Brown) Herrington. She was full of imagination, spunk and very much a tom-boy. If you ever wanted to find her all you needed to do was look in the garage and she could always be found barefoot next to her dad putting their tools to work. After a good rain Bunkie would always put on her little rubber boots and play in the mud puddles. At two years old she managed to teach the people around her more than they could have ever imagined about love. She will always be known as her mom's baby girl and her dad's best friend, they miss her tremendously and know she is their angel watching over them. Bunkie is survived by her parents Ericka and Jimmy, siblings Lindsey "Sissy" Herrington, James "Jimmy" Herrington Jr., Haley "Mckenzie" Ingman, paternal grandfather Jack (Sherry) Herrington of Galien, Michigan, maternal grandfather Chris Ousley of Tampa, Florida, maternal grandmother Kimberly Brown and a host of family and close friends. She is preceded in death by her grandma Linda Thatcher, great grandpa Harold Brown and her mimi Donnie Stafford. A time of visitation will be held at Brown Funeral Home in Niles on Thursday, July 12, 2012 from 10:30 a.m. - Noon.
