Obituary of Judith Kay Jones

Judith Jones, 57, of Niles, passed away at her home on Monday, December 20, 2021. Judith was born on March 23, 1964, to the late Gerald Robert Lewis and JoAnn (Webber) Lewis. Judith was a simple but generous woman. She loved being a mom and always had a nurturing spirit for those she crossed paths with. She cared for the people around her, even letting strangers and people who were struggling into her home for a nice, home-cooked meal. Judith loved being a grandmother, it was just another reason to love the way that she did. She enjoyed spending time with her sister and three nephews. They meant the world to her and she will be greatly missed by all the lives she touched. When she wasn’t taking care of the needs of others, she would go fishing or watch TV. She mostly watched Cops and court shows, but when it was nice out, she enjoyed strolls through the neighborhood and time by the water. Judith’s memory will live on in the hearts of many people. If you could learn something from her life, it would be to love and cherish those around you. She was preceded in death by her parents; Gerald Robert Lewis; and JoAnn (Webber) Lewis. Judith is survived by her children, James Lyle Jones, Brandon Lee Jones, and Gregory Nikodem Jr.; a host of grandchildren; and many extended family members and close friends.
