Obituary of Nathan Thomas Fron

Please share a memory of Nathan to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Nathan T. Fron, 33, of Niles, suddenly passed away at home on December 6, 2021. He was born on August 11, 1988, in South Bend, Indiana. Although Nathan’s life was cut too short, the years he did have with us were spent keeping busy with his favorite hobbies, work, and family. What he loved more than anything else was music. Nathan was a gifted guitar player, he knew how to play the piano, and he enjoyed sharing his talents with an audience. He played in a small local band and spent some time playing for his church. For Nathan, music was a getaway, it was something that would help him free his mind, and was his favorite way to express himself. He was his happiest when he was at a show or some kind of live performance. One of his most memorable experiences was when he went to New York City and saw “Cats” the musical with his family. When he was traveling it was most often alongside his parents, Mary and Thomas Fron. As a family, they would frequent Stone Harbor, New Jersey, to visit other relatives. There were also a handful of trips down to Orlando, Florida to experience Disney World. Nathan enjoyed the simple pleasures in life; tacos, polish food, and beach days in St. Joseph, Michigan. Nathan also loved to fish, any river that was nearby was fair game. If anyone were to know what Nathan valued the most, it was his relationship with his great-grandfather. While his grandpa was still living the two were inseparable. Nathan was a kind-natured, affectionate, and a very gentle man who was sweet with youngsters and old alike. He kissed his grandpa Arthur whom he often referred to as ‘dad.’ He brought much joy to his family as a young boy and later as a man. If he could be remembered with three words it would be kind, gentle, and reassuring. Nathan was a good man who enjoyed the people in his life, he will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends. Nathan is preceded in death by his best friend and his great-grandpa, Arthur Dietrich. Family members surviving Nathan include his parents, Thomas and Mary (Dietrich) Fron; he is also survived by many other close family members and friends. Following Nathan’s cremation will be a service at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Parish on Wednesday, December 29, 2021. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. and the funeral will begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at a later date. Memorial Contributions may be made out to St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Niles.
