Ann L. (Ross) Hersey, 54, of Kalamazoo, formerly of Benton Harbor, departed this earth on Tuesday, July 10, 2012, surrounded by her loving family, following a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on December 3, 1957 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late James Williams and Pauline (Curry) Ross.
Ann married James E. Hersey who also preceded her in death.
She was faithful and devoted in her service to the Lord. Ann was a member of New Covenant Community Baptist Church in Benton Harbor. She enjoyed shopping, traveling and spending time with her family. Ann had a way of touching people's hearts and will be missed deeply by all that knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Ann is survived by five sons and ten daughters, hosts of grandchildren and many other family members.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at New Paradise Baptist Church 287 S. Crystal Avenue in Benton Harbor. A time of visitation will begin one hour prior. Ann will be laid to rest next to her husband at Crystal Springs Cemetery.
