Mr. Clarence McDougle was born February 12, 1948 in Flora, Mississippi, to the late Ms. Lit McDougle and the late Jesse Bracey.
Mr. McDougle departed life on Monday, November 29, 2021 in Niles, Michigan.
In Mississippi, his first home, Mr. Clarence was also known as Black boy, he later was known for being called Country. He moved to Michigan and Michigan became his home over 50 years ago, but he always found his way back to Mississippi to visit his loving family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Clarence was preceded in death by his sister and two brothers.
He leaves behind three children; Miranda Evans Bibbs (James) of Florence, Mississippi, Clarence Briggs (Juanita), and Charles D. Bell of Lansing, Michigan; brother, David Chaffin (Lillie) of Clinton, Mississippi, and Mr. Clarence leaves behind nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Clarence has always been a hard working man, especially when he worked at factories like General Motors back when they were booming. After many years he became unable to work, but always was a Mr. Fix It.
In his time in Benton Harbor, Michigan he loved going to the river bank feeding the ducks and hanging with his friends around the way.
No Matter where I am, your spirit will be beside me
For I know no matter what
You will always be with me
Love, your daughter
