Obituary of Richard Allen Schram

Richard A. Schram, 69, of Niles, passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021; at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Indiana. He was born on January 20, 1952, in Niles, Michigan to the late Robert and Emma (Jann) Schram. On December 5, 1987, he married the former Cindy Ehlert in South Bend, Indiana. Richard, along with his wife, spent many years driving semi-trucks. He was an entertainer by nature, he enjoyed his time being a part of Fast Freddy and the Playboys. In his free time, you would often find him hunting with his brothers and nephews. His most treasured moments were spent with his grandchildren, his beautiful wife, his children, and yes, even with Elvis. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Terri Wadsworth, Debbie Buwa; and a brother, Rick Schram Richard is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Schram of Niles; children, Christina Schram, Kimberly Kline, Jennifer Glen) Peck, Meredith Struble, Ashley (Derek) Grahl, Katelyn (Rob) Jackson; sixteen grandchildren, Seth, Emma, Andrew, Alyssa, Skyler, Lexi, Ari, Aiden, Niecia, Michael, Landon, Lillian, Zaiden, Xander, Amelia, Brianna, and baby Jackson on the way; siblings, Sharon Schram, Mike Schram, Randy Schram, Mickey Schram, and Jack Schram. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place, and his family will be holding a memorial service at a later date.
