Richard L. Fedore Jr., 65, of Niles, passed away suddenly, of natural causes on Sunday, November 14, 2021. He was born on November 4, 1956 to Richard L. Sr. and Patricia J. (Ward) Fedore. Dick was a 1975 graduate of Niles High School and served in the U. S. Army. He was known to be a great provider for his family and believed in giving a hard day’s work. He had been employed at Wolohan Lumber in Niles and Federal Group in Mishawaka. He most recently worked and retired from Enviroclean where he was a supervisor working in public schools. He enjoyed time fishing, especially with his sons. Dick was an avid football fan always paying attention to the Chiefs and University of Michigan. He looked forward to watching UFC fights, playing catch with his kids, scrapping metal and working odd jobs. Dick spent a few of his growing years in Brussels where he traveled with the Champion Baseball League throughout Europe while attending the International School of Brussels. Dick was a private pilot and enjoyed flying with his father in their Cessna plane for many years and attending air shows. Dick was an Elvis Presley fan and enjoyed a variety of music. He never met a stranger and was a magnet, always having the gift of drawing people to him. Dick’s most valuable quality was his love for his family and his integrity, always being a man of his word. Dick was preceded in death by his father, Richard L. Fedore Sr. and brother-in-law, Denny Hatch. He is survived by his mother, Patricia Fedore of Niles; children, Tania (Travis) Meyers of Niles, Travis (Lori) Fedore of Berrien Springs, Justin Fedore (April Hamilton) of Niles, Brett Fedore of Niles and Nick (Kara) Fedore of Gallatin, Tennessee; thirteen grandchildren, Courtney Meyers (Casey Burandt), Mallory Meyers, Abbie Polly, Landon Fedore, Jaiden Fedore, Kayden Fedore, Koltyn Fedore, Kate Fedore, Kyler Fedore, Keegan Fedore, Grayson Avery, Eva Fedore and Hunter Fedore; a great-grandson, Waylon Burandt; siblings, Debbie Hatch of Niles, Sherry (Mike) Fedor of North Carolina, Jackie (Chuck) Foghino of Niles and Mike (Sarah) Fedore of Niles as well as a host of adoring nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Niles with a time of visitation to begin at 10:00 a.m. An interment will follow at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens.
