Verne Christensen, 72, of Dowagiac, passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph, Michigan.
Verne Christensen was born on January 19, 1940 in Niles to the late Verne and Geraldine (Mann) Christensen.
Verne is preceded in death by his parents, and a step-father, Roy Prucpp.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Saltzman of Dowagiac, son Brent (Allyson) Christensen of Jacksonville, North Carolina, three daughters; Dawn (Raymond) Hayes of Zersaille, Kentucky, Cherie (Donald) Anglemyer of Jones, Robin Christensen of Dowagiac, seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, sister, Elaine (Victor) Christensen-Venti of Detroit and brother Lynn (Philis) Christensen of Texas.
