Obituary of Ruth Evelyn McLaughlin

Ruth E. McLaughlin, 93, of Kalamazoo and previously of Benton Harbor, passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021. Ruth was born on December 30, 1927, to the late John Frank and Dorothy Pearl (Parker) Kuhn in Kokomo, Indiana. After graduating from Rochester High School, Ruth went on to become a telephone operator for over 40 years. She wed Harold McLaughlin, he precedes her in death. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and siblings, Donna Yoder, Wilma Creager, Rose Norman, Frank Kuhn, Larry Kuhn, Mike Kuhn, and Terry Kuhn. Ruth is survived by her sister, Ella Mae Young of LaPal, Indiana, and Jerry (Mary) Kuhn of North Manchester, Indiana. Ruth was laid to rest, in a private ceremony, next to her husband at North Shore Memory Garden.
