Obituary of Pamela Pauline Auger

Pamela P. Auger, of North Muskegon, suddenly passed away September 5th, 2021 She was born in Jacksonville, Florida, and was raised by her mother, Claire (Zwar) Kiggins, and her wonderful step-dad Ernest Kiggins Sr. in Cassopolis, Michigan. Shortly after graduating high school Pamela joined the United States Navy and served as an F-14 plane captain and then a hospital corpsman for 6 years in total. Her biggest passion and hobby in life was her music. She was known to be a fantastic singer and also wrote a lot of her own music. One of her most special songs was written about her two sons, Paul and Nathan. Her favorite kind of music was country, and her favorite artist was Patsy Cline. Pamela was known for her kind spirit and positive attitude and will be missed by many. Aside from being missed by her loving family, she will be missed by her colleagues at UACJ Automotive Whitehall Industries. She worked as a quality engineer and her upbeat attitude will be remembered dearly. Outside of work, Pamela loved being outdoors. One could find her out in the woods hunting during any season. Friends and family were amongst two of the things that Pamela valued the most and her friendly attitude reflected that. She was preceded in death by her dad, Ernest Kiggins; and a sister, Lisa Ann Meritt Kiggins Pamela is survived by her mother, Claire Kiggins; her two sons, Paul Mayes and Nathan Nelson; her brother, Ernest Kiggins Jr.; and her two beloved grandkids, Angela Mayes and Samuel Nelson. A full-service funeral with military honors will be held for Pamela at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens on September 20th, 2021 with public visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. and services beginning at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions in her memory may be donated to Cars for Cancer.
