Obituary of Glenn William Hammond

Glenn William Hammond, 67, of Dowagiac, passed away at The Timbers of Cass County in Dowagiac. Glenn was born on August 5, 1953, to the late Perry and Catherine (Werle) Hammond in Chicago, Illinois. On Spetember 8, 1983 Glenn wed Madeline Ann Grannon at a ceremony in Conroe, Texas and together they had two children. Glen enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching movies, going out to Lindy’s with his wife, spending time with his grandkids, and watching the Tennessee Titans play football. He was preceded in death by his parents, Perry and Catherine Hammond and his siblings, Robert Kippen, Charles Hammond, Robert Delroso, and Betsy Dutton. Glenn is survived by his wife of nearly 38 years, Madeline Hammond; children, Billie Jo Hammond of Dowagiac and Glenn Hammond of Sumnerville; five grandchildren with one more on the way; siblings, Alvin Hammond, Catherine Reeves, Linda Derks, Carolyn Delrosa, and Shawn Hammond; and many extended family members and close friends. Glenn has been cremated and his family will be holding a memorial dinner in his honor at a later date.
