Obituary of William E. Wruck

William E. "Bill" Wruck, 72, of Niles passed away at Kindred Hospital in Mishawaka after a brief illness. On October 26, 1939 Bill was born to the late William and Clara (Tetzloff) Wruck in Denham, Indiana. Bill married Beverly Connors on November 18, 1967 at a ceremony in Roseland, Indiana and together they raised five children and shared 38 years of marriage together. Always a hard worker, Bill retired from Simplicity Pattern after 42 years where much of his time was spent as a plate maker. Bill's work ethic was also apparent with his flower garden. People would drive by his home just to admire his gorgeous flower garden and hanging baskets. Bill enjoyed playing horseshoes and was an avid Notre Dame fan. He was a member of both the Niles Eagles and Niles Elks Lodge. Family was very important to Bill, and he found himself happiest when he was surrounded by his family. Preceding Bill are his parents and his wife Beverly. Surviving Bill are his son Edward Hartman of Niles, his four daughters; Suellyn Bivens and Patricia Sims, both of Niles, Kim Sheperdson and Kelley (Roger) Schneider both of Indiana, nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, his four sisters; Marlene (Roy) Pollock and Beverly (Jim) Bennett both of Niles, Charlotte (Don) De Freez of Buchanan and Carol (Stan) Wilson of Goshen, Indiana. A time of visitation will be held Wednesday, August 8, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 9th at 11:00 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home. An interment will follow at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens.
