Obituary of Roxsan Murray

Roxsan Murray, 66, of Dowagiac, passed away on Friday, June 25, 2021, at her home, with her loving family by her side.
She was born February 9, 1955 to Donald Grady Sr. & Elizabeth (Manley) Grady.
Roxsan married Charles Murray on October 30, 1971; They celebrated 46 years of marriage before his passing. To that union two daughters, Angela and Regina were born.
She was a lifetime resident of Dowagiac, where she worked in the Dowagiac Union School system for more than twenty years.
Roxsan loved children and enjoyed working with them, watching them grow, and succeed in doing great things. Roxsan loved to garden, work in her yard, travel, and spend time with family, and friends. She was a faithful and active member of Second Baptist Church in Dowagiac, Michigan. She was compassionate and would help all in need.
She is preceded in death by her parents Donald and Elizabeth Grady; husband Charles Murray; a brother, Donald Grady Jr.; mother-in-law Mildred Murray.
Roxsan leaves to cherish her fond memories; daughters Angela (Christopher) Brown, Regina Northrop; grandchildren Christopher Murray, Taren Murray, Tiara Brown, Crystal Murray, and Daven Brown; great Grandchildren Amadiano Reyna, Brooklynn Brown, Brantley Murray, Charles Gray, Caia Murray, and Braylon Rutkowske; sisters, Donna Coles, Mary Shepard, Sharon Grady, Karen Hubbard, Vicky (Floyd) Smith, and Jan Grady; a brother Ricky (Camille) Grady Sr.; brother-in-law Larry (Eunice) Murray; father-in-law, Henry (Jim) Murray; Godchildren David Shepard Jr. and Anthony Grady; along with a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
To her special sister, Mary Shepard, she left a special message for you:” I will always be with you we will always be together".
Roxsan leaves with you her love!

Homegoing Celebration to be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, July 3rd, 2021, at the Federated Church, 202 Center St, Dowagiac. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
