Obituary of Rickard Dean Adams

Rickard "Rick" Adams, 68, of Niles, passed away at Lakeland Regional Hospital, June 15th, 2021. Rick was born to the late Delbert and Roberta (Holt) Adams. After graduating from high school, he studied for a couple years at Michigan State University and ended up pursuing a career as a quality control technician for the Gunite Corporation. Rick married the love of his life, Denise (Forshey) Adams, at the United Methodist Church in Berrien Springs on July 20th of 1974. The union of Rickard and Denise brought them two sons, Daniel and Joshua. He enjoyed his family, loved his country, and appreciated the outdoors. He was known to speak his mind and enjoyed sharing his ideas with others, especially when it came to politics. Rick put God first and was a faithful member of the Sumnerville Bible Baptist Church. Rick is survived by his children, Dan (Kim) Adams of Niles, and Joshua (Cindie) Adams of Marcellus. He has six surviving grandchildren and is also survived by his only sibling, Patricia Adams of Edwardsburg. The Adams family will be holding services at Mission Hills Memorial Cemetery at the main Chapel on Friday, June 18, 2021, with visitation starting at 6:00 p.m. and ceremonies beginning at 7:00 p.m. The family asks that any donations be made to the Sumnerville Bible Baptist Church.
