Obituary of Frederick Koenigshof

Frederick Koenigshof, 67, of Edwardsburg, passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2021 at his residence, following a lengthy illness. He was born on December 21, 1953 in Niles, Michigan to the late Robert and Irene (Giechen) Koenigshof. Frederick grew up on his family farm where at a young age lost his leg in a farming accident. Life was not easy for Fred however; he was not going to let his disability to keep him from living life. After high school Fred married and the couple later divorced. He worked in factory work for most of his career prior to his retirement. He enjoyed watching the cooking channel and was a pizza enthusiast! He was preceded in death by his parent and his former life partner, Celia Roth; Fred is survived by his children, Tyler and Sara Koenigshof; Celia’s son Tanner Pederson and his siblings, Dan Koenigshof, Patrick (Laura) Koenigshof, Barb Fitzgerald and Sandy (Glenn) Jenson. In keeping with Fred’s wishes, cremation has taken place and he will be remembered privately by his family. Memorial contributions may be made in Fred’s memory to any Humane Society.
