Max Edward Thompson, 84, of Marcellus, passed away on Monday, May 10, 2021, at his home. He was born on February 6, 1937 in Wabash, Indiana, to the late Kenneth and Almeda (Shoemaker) Thompson. Max worked for many years in the RV manufacturing industry. In his free time you would often find him working on several woodworking projects. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, or hanging out with friends playing pool or shooting darts. He was preceded in death by his parents, and all of his siblings. Max is survived by his children, Linda (Craig) McGlothlen of South Bend; Rick Thompson of Edwardsburg; Kenneth Thompson of Niles; Judy Thompson of Cassopolis; Jerry (Julie) Thompson of Granger; his caregivers, Erin and Connie; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions in his memory may be directed the Cass County Area Council on Aging 60525 Decatur Road, Cassopolis, Michigan 49031.
