Obituary of Bruce Boyd Slamkowski

Bruce B. Slamkowski, 62, of Niles, formerly of Muskegon, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021, at his home.
He was born on May 18, 1958, in Muskegon, Michigan. Bruce enlisted into the United States Navy. He devoted a thirty-year career to serving his country. He retired as a Senior Chief Petty Officer. Bruce enjoyed golfing and took great pride in being an avid marksman. He had an amazing, eclectic collection of antique guns, knives, and oriental treasures.
Bruce is survived by his mother, Judith A. Austin of Muskegon; siblings, Barbara (Ron) Snyder of Gulf Port, Mississippi; Brian Slamkowski of Muskegon; Thomas Slamkowski of Richmond, Virginia; Laurel (John) O’Bradobick of Grandville; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held in Muskegon, at a later date.
