Dear friend, sister in life and in God’s family; Syl will be forever a part of who I have become. I thank the Lord for letting our paths cross and for us to take the life journey together. Your mom was a warrior, survivor and treated everyone with kindness when we worked together. She taught me and others to be brave and to be strong advocates as women. She was a mentor to many, offering information and wisdom to anyone who needed help. I miss her laughter and quick humor and most of all her hugs. Always be proud of your mom-her journey was never easy and she prevailed with all that she had. I know she is with God and I look forward to being with her again someday. I’m so very sorry she was sent to heaven so soon.
