Obituary of Monica Ann Martin

Monica A Martin, United States Army Veteran and Licensed Practical Nurse passed away of natural causes on Wednesday, April 7, 2021. After battling several health issues, she passed peacefully in her sleep with her very loved niece Jennifer by her side at Spectrum Health Lakeland in St. Joseph, Michigan on Wednesday evening. Preceded by her mother Shirley and older sister Pam, Monica is survived by two other nieces, Wendy and Angie, a younger sister Kim, her cousin Halana, her brother-in-law Earl, countless beloved friends she considered family, and her son Jon. in lieu of flowers, the family suggests using those funds to donate to the Vietnam Women's Memorial ( http://vietnamwomensmemorial.org/) or to your local animal shelter. For those who may feel sorrow and loss, we humbly ask you instead to feel happiness and joy - because if there is indeed an afterlife then without question the first person to meet Monica there was her best friend and beloved youngest sister burgetta. yes, the lower case b is intentional. The two have been reunited and undoubtedly many adventures will follow.
