Obituary of Frank Webb Jr

Please share a memory of Frank to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Frank Webb Jr., 81, of Niles, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021, at his home. He was born on March 12, 1939, in Tunica, Mississippi to the late Frank and Charity (Milton) Webb Sr. Frank Webb, Jr. also known affectionately as old man, pops, youngblood, or Unk, lived a full life. He honorably served in the Army and implemented many of those disciplines in his life. If you ever were in his presence; his infectious laugh, profound insight into the world we live in, and huge heart took front stage of your encounter. He was an observer, had an inquisitive mind, and was wise. One not given to vain words, a conversation with Frank was sincere, direct, and encouraging, mixed with a joke or two. The kind of man who dressed for the occasion, debonair from hat to shoe, most times with a toothpick in the corner of his lip, his warm demeanor captured the moment. Frank was a family man and his heart's desire was family unity, building connectedness, and social responsibility. He was the uncle, father, and grandpa who backed up his love with action. Frank was skilled in many areas from cooking signature dishes to what he called the kitchen sink, baking his cakes, buttermilk pies to building skills. An avid bowler, and a lover of music, where he was often found pecking at the piano or organ, to chasing bluegills and perch on the fishing bank. He had an insatiable love for fried liver, peanuts, or coffee to feast on. He was a traveler and would oftentimes get lost just so he could find a new route to get somewhere. Frank served Yahshua with his whole being. A faithful servant-leader, his call to ministry was one he loved with true sincerity from his hours of studying the scriptures and dissecting the text to his time in prayer. He lived his faith. Frank could break down a sermon and get the revelation that was easily understood with cross-reference and 5-10 congruent scripture to support what the Holy Spirit revealed. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings, Bud Webb, Charlie Webb, Isaiah Webb, L.C. Webb, his twin brother Gatt Webb; and the mother of his daughter Kim, Willie J. Yarbrough. Frank is survived by his children, Freddie (John) Alexander of Fayetteville, North Carolina; Linda (Darryl) Roland Sr. of Kissimmee, Florida; Carolyn (Pierre) Julien of McDonough, Georgia; Kim (Pierre) Burney Waldorf, Maryland; Sharon Webb of Syracuse, New York; Alex (Janice) Webb of Fayetteville, North Carolina; Charles Webb of Fayetteville, North Carolina; Frank Webb III of Elkhart, Indiana; Kentrich (Mona) Webb of Westland, Michigan; Hurtlena Webb of Elkhart, Indiana; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; the mothers of his children, Ellen Gill, and Martha Webb; along with a host of extended family and adopted children.
