Emmanuel John Butler, 43, of Niles, passed away at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph on Thursday, March 4, 2021.
Emmanuel was born on April 15, 1977, to Debra Ann Butler and Oscar Emmanuel in Chicago, Illinois. After school Emmanuel pursued a career as a chef working at restaurants in Las Vegas and Chicago and then became a truck driver and continued until shortly before his passing.
He was preceded in death by his father, Oscar Emmanuel.
Emmanuel is survived by his children, Daquary Aguirre` of Kalamazoo, Emani Butler of Chicago, Illinois, Emmanuel Butler Jr. of Chicago, Illinois, and Ethan Butler of South Bend; sister, Roena Butler of Kalamazoo; friend and mother to Ethan, Daisy Butler of South Bend; and many extended family members and close friends.
A Homegoing service will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021, at Brown Funeral Home in Niles at 10:00 a.m. with visitation beginning two hours before.
