Viola M. Clark, 95, of Dowagiac, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Timbers of Cass County, following a brief illness.
She was born on May 4, 1925 in South Bend, Indiana the daughter of Emmett and Goldie (Zeichel) Culver.
On May 3, 1944 Viola married Irving G. Clark at a ceremony in Coloma, Michigan and the couple has celebrated over seventy-six years of marriage.
Viola worked as a clerk for many years at Whirlpool Corporation in St. Joseph, Michigan, prior to her retirement. She was a gifted artisan, knitting and crocheting beautiful items. Viola always looked forward to summertime when she could tend to her flower garden.
She was preceded in passing by her parents and a son, Gary Clark.
Viola is survived by her loving husband, Irving Clark of Dowagiac; sons, Van (Margaret) Clark of Tennessee and Terry (Sandy) Clark of Arkansas; four grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Viola’s family will gather to remember her privately.
