Obituary of Danette Robin Lovelace

Danette R. Lovelace, 57, of Dowagiac, passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, February 25, 2021, following a brief illness. She was born on July 15, 1963 in Knox, Indiana to Tillman and Shirley Ann (Reed) Goble. Danette graduated from Dowagiac Union High School, class of 1982, along with her baby sister. She furthered her education by graduating Cosmetology College. Danette recently was employed as an office manager at 1st Choice Automotive in Dowagiac. She is a longtime member of Dailey Church. Danette always looked forward to crafting and swimming. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she loved spending time with them. Danette will be remembered for her fun-loving ways, her eyes lighting up while watching fireworks and relishing the title of “Goofball”! She has joined her father, Tillman Goble who preceded her in passing last year. Danette leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Shirley Goble of Eau Claire; her daughter, Courtney Lovelace of Dowagiac; a son, Cory Lovelace (Kasie Rank) of Dowagiac; her grandchildren, Dylan, Julian, Gavin, Aiden and Carter; her siblings, Dennis (Lynnette) Goble of Avondale, Arizona, Dena (Matt) Kaag of Tennessee, Duane (Judy) Goble of Savannah, Georgia, Donna (Tom) Snyder Jr. of Hartford, Michigan and Denise (Keith) Fenech of Dowagiac, Michigan as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Funeral services to celebrate Danette’s life will be held 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home in Niles with a time of visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in Danette’s memory in care of her children.
