Obituary of Jeri L. Reum

Jeri L. Reum, 75, of Niles, passed away on Monday, September 4, 2017, following a lengthy illness. She was born on October 20, 1941 in Niles to the late James D. and Jeanette M. (Sherbino) Sumner. On March 1, 1958, Jeri married Clifford John Reum at a ceremony in Niles. She owned and operated White Glove Cleaning Service in Niles for many years. Jeri was a member of The First Church of Christ - Christian in Niles. She had a love for horses and always enjoyed horseback riding. Jeri also looked forward to time outdoors including hunting and fishing. She was a gifted organist and found joy in collecting birdhouses. Jeri valued most her time spent with family and looked forward to cooking and baking for them. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Sumner and Jeanette Snouwaert, a son, Michael John Reum and a grandson, Michael John Reum, Jr. Jeri is survived by her long-time companion, Ernest Everman of Niles, her daughter, Margo Rivera of Niles, a daughter-in-love, Mary (Randy) Womble of Niles, six grandchildren , Clifford J. (Leah) Reum, Christopher J. (Sherilyn) Reum, Shannin L. Reum, Raphael A. Rivera, and Michaela M. Rivera, and a host of other grandchildren she adopted and several great-grandchildren, two half-sisters, Suzanne (Dale) Fink of Niles and Jamie Sumner of Ellensburg, Washington and countless other family and friends. A time of visitation will be held at Brown Funeral Home on Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday at Brown Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor David Szymczak officiating.
