Obituary of Orval David Whitaker

Orval Whitaker, 68, of Niles, passed away on Monday, September 3, 2012 at Silverbrook Manor Nursing Home with his family by his side. Orval Whitaker was born on March 9, 1944 in Brown County, Indiana to the late George and Eusia (Mink) Whitaker. Orval proudly served his county for 13 months during the Korean War. He worked for Simplicity Pattern for 28 years. He married the love of his life Connie Ann (Frantz) Whitaker at a ceremony in Niles. Orval is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Floyd Whitaker and Les Whitaker, two sisters, Mary June Davis and Gladith Lowe, niece Robin Whitaker, two nephews, Jeff Whitaker and Wesley Boller and a great-nephew Adam Stodghill. He is survived by his wife, a sister Shirley Boller of Russellville, Indiana, 20 nieces, 14 nephews, 32 great-nieces, 38 great-nephews, 5 great-great-nieces and 6 great-great-nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
