Obituary of Brian Bennett

Brian Bennett, 61, of St. Joseph, passed away at home on Sunday, January 24, 2021. Brian was born on September 21, 1959, to the late Thomas and Eileen (Astbury) Bennett in Warrington, England. After graduating high school Brian enlisted in the United States Army where he proudly served for 6 years. On September 25, 1999, he wed Sandy at a ceremony in Buchanan. Brian was an avid football fan, especially if it included the Chicago Bears or his beloved University of Michigan. He has always been a social person who made friends everywhere he went, he enjoyed showing off his rose garden, sharing the tomatoes off his plentiful tomato vines, and watching NASCAR with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Eileen Bennett. Brian is survived by his wife, Sandy Bennett; daughter, Kayleigh Bennett of Muskegon; siblings, David (Lorraine) Bennett of Warrington, England, Ian Bennett of Stockport, England, Lynne Peck of St. Joseph, Michigan, and Reggie (Vivian) Bennett of Warrington, England; and many extended family members and close friends. In keeping with Brian’s wishes cremation has taken place and his family will be remembering him privately.
