Obituary of Jamie Dawn Sharrai

Jamie Dawn Sharrai, 35, of Edwardsburg, passed away at her home on Friday, January 15, 2021. Jamie, also known as “Delta Dawn” by her sister, was born on August 20, 1985, in Ontario, Oregon. She had four children, LaVera, Joseph, Andrew, and Ebon. Being a mother was everything to Jamie. She loved children in general but having her own was even more special. She enjoyed helping people, cooking and baking, gardening, and reading a good book. Jamie had a wholesome vibe about her and was good to her core; she truly was one of a kind. She was preceded in death by her brothers, James “Tyler” Sharrai and Joshua Hargreaves. Jamie is survived by her children, LaVera, Joseph, Andrew, and Ebon Erler; mother and step-father, Linda (Trevor) Nilson of Edwardsburg; father and step-mother, Elmer (Carrie) Sharrai of Idaho; her boyfriend of many years, Brad Lowe of Hartford, Michigan; her children’s father, Paul Erler of Texas; siblings, Amber Sharrai of Niles, Steven (Danelis) Sharrai of Niles, Christopher (Sommer) Sharrai of Niles, Levi Sharrai of Edwardsburg, Dakota Deloach of Edwardsburg, Trevor Nilson Jr. of Edwardsburg, Margaret Hargreaves of Watervliet, Sena (Johnny) Fonseca of Eau Claire, and Katie (Mike) Jones of Galien; sister-in-law, Nichole Jones of Niles; and many extended family members and close friends. Funeral services to honor the life of Jamie will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021, at Brown Funeral Home in Niles at 3:00 p.m. with a time of visitation one hour prior.
