Kim Zimmerman, 75, of Three Rivers formerly of Niles passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020 in her home. She was born to the late Kyongsoo Kim and Kwisoon Kim on September 3, 1945 in Pusan, Korea. On November 15, 1968 she married John William Zimmerman at a ceremony in Seoul, Korea. For over thirty years Kim worked at the former Simplicity Pattern Company in Niles prior to her retirement. Kim enjoyed time with her husband, watching the Chicago Bears and fishing. Kim will also be remembered for her beautiful gardens she tended to daily and kindness shown to others. She is preceded in passing by her parents; her husband John Zimmerman and a sister, Myong Howe. Kim is survived by her brother, Sung (Song) Kim of Three Rivers as well as many other friends and family members. Services to honor Kim will take place Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Noon at Brown Funeral Home in Niles with a time of visitation one hour prior. Kim will be laid to rest next to her husband at Silverbrook Cemetery. Condolences, photos, and memories may be left for Kim’s family at www.BrownFuneralHomeNiles.com.
