Obituary of Jeremy Scott Lodholtz

Jeremy “Johnny Bizzle” Lodholtz, 33, of Niles, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020, at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Indiana. He was born in South Bend, Indiana on September 5, 1987, to Teresa Neucks. He graduated from high school in 2006. He enlisted into the United States Marines, where he proudly served his country in Iraq. After returning home he continued his education at ITT Tech, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in computer science. At his home, on December 6, 2020, he married Hayley Baker, in a civil ceremony, performed by his sister. Jeremy loved his boys, fiancé Haley, and entire family. He looked forward to landscaping and taking care of his plants. Jeremy was talented at completing projects and building things for others. He also enjoyed technology as well as gaming. Jeremy will be greatly missed by those who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert A. Lodholtz; grandfathers, Allen Lodholtz and Robert Neucks. Jeremy is survived by the love of his life Hayley Baker-Lodholtz of Niles; his sons, Aiden and Alexander Lodholtz; his parents, Teresa and David Mills of Jones; siblings, Mandy Bennett of St. Joseph; Brandon Lodholtz of Dowagiac; Joshua Mills of Buchanan; Brianna (Alex) Mills of Mishawaka; Marine brother in arms, Vinny; nieces and nephews, Kenzie, Nilah, Rakelle, Olivia, Payton, Axel; close cousins, Kourtney, Nicholas, Mason, Jeffrey; grandmothers, Judith Neucks and Sharon Lodholtz; aunts, Angie (Juan), and Connie; uncles, Donald and Rob; along with a host of extended family. A walk through visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home, 521 E Main St. in Niles. A private funeral service will be held. In keeping with the Covid-19 guidelines, our gathering is limited, the State of Michigan requires all in attendance to follow all guidelines including, social distancing, mandatory mask, and hand sanitizing.
