Nicholas Oliver Beauregard, 38, of Dowagiac, passed away at Spectrum Health Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids after a long battle with kidney disease on Tuesday, December 1, 2020. Nick was born on December 16, 1981, to the late Norman and Nancy (Oliver) Beauregard in Baxter, Texas. Nick loved spending his free time gardening, listening to music, watching old movies, and especially talking on the phone to Carrie and Stephany as well as his other friends. Nik made a statement with his life everywhere he went. He was always respectful and had one of the biggest hearts. He always had a smile on his face and loved being the reason other people smiled. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Nancy and his sister, Nichole Beauregard. Nick is survived by his aunts and uncles; and his friends whom he considered his family; Michelle Schipono of Dowagiac, Carrie Barry of Houston, Texas and Mary and Michael Griffin of Kentucky; along with a host of other extended family and friends. In keeping with Nick’s wishes, he has been cremated and his friends and family will be hosting private memorial services.
