Obituary of Jeffery Linn Williams

Jeffery L. Williams, 62, of Dowagiac, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020, at his home. He was born on November 14, 1958, in South Bend, to the late Samuel and Margaret (Fisher) Williams. Jeffery was the quintessential bachelor; he was very stubborn, but also very kind and giving. He loved his dogs, all of them, he had a few of their names tattooed on his arms; Tifany, Emily, Trixie, Maggie, Snoopy, Coca Cola, Cocoa, and Bear, to name a few. Jeffery’s blue eyes sparkled whenever he was around his family. He collected cars and trucks on a fairly regular basis, full size ones, match box ones, any that caught his fancy at the moment. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Samuel H. Williams Jr. Jeffery is survived by his brother, Richard (Olive) Williams of Dowagiac; sister, Rebecca (Clarence) Wilson of Niles; and a host of nieces and nephews. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place. A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 29, 2021, at Bertrand Cemetery.
