I got to know the Neubauers when I taught the area WELS breakfast Bible Class, when I preached at Good Shepherd, and when I saw them at ML. I often greeted them with respect and a smile (I also grew up in a farming community) stating that Neubauer in German could mean "New Farmer." I never knew that I grew up just 35 miles west of Hutchison ("Hutch"), but I did know the wonderful faith in Jesus that the Holy Spirit worked in Elvern. Your great loss will find its comfort in the knowledge of her peace and joy in heaven's glory and we'll get by till the Lord brings us home, too.
