Obituary of Beverly Ann Austin

Beverly Ann (Flint) Austin, 88, of Niles, passed away at Memorial Hospital on Monday, August 24, 2020. Beverly was born on December 9, 1931, to the late Walter and Valma (Harris) Flint in Niles. She was one of eleven children. After high school, Beverly went on to retire from Tyler’s Refrigeration in Niles. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Valma Flint, and siblings, Desonia, William, Walter Jr., Duane, Richard, Eugene, and Jerry Flint, Kathryn Finley, and Shirley Bryant. Beverly is survived by her son, Darrel Austin; daughter, Vikki Flint; sister, Sharon Hill; four grandchildren, Alex White, Andre White, Tasha Flint, and Danielle (Ryan) Luckey; two great-grandchildren, Zavier and Grayson; and many extended family members and close friends. Funeral services to honor a celebrate Beverly’s life will be held on Friday, August 28, 2020, at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church located at 601 Ferry Street in Niles at 11:00 a.m. with a time of visitation one hour prior. In keeping with the governor’s orders family and friends are reminded that masks are mandatory and social distancing will be required. Burial will follow at Silverbrook Cemetery.
