Barbara Jean Peters, 72, of Three Oaks, passed away at Spectrum Health Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph on Saturday, July 4, 2020.
Barbara was born on February 4, 1948, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Chester and Estelle (Jessick) Gros.
After graduating high school, she worked for many years as a retail manager.
On March 18, 1995, at a service in Three Oaks, Michigan, Barbara Gros married Jerry Peters. They were happily married until Jerry’s passing in 2014.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Barbara will be missed by her sons, Thomas (Glenda) Dunkel of Cordova, Tennessee, Timothy Dunkel of Galien, and Todd Dunkel of Three Oaks; step-children, Tracy (Jeff) Jones of Three Oaks, and Jerry “Butch” (Tiffany) Peters of Three Oaks; thirteen grandchildren; one great-grandchildren; brothers, Jeff Gros of Ohio, and Neil Gros of Florida; and many extended family members and close friends.
