Dad,
I just wanted to say that you were the best dad any kid could ask for. Working nights for so many years to provide more for the family. Sleeping in the heat of the summer days, never missing anything Vicki or I had going on. Traveling for Babe Ruth tournaments that you were running or just supporting the local kids. The stories we all could tell from the bad ice in Kentucky to RC and the door holding/elevator crying incident. Fishing on Little Smith lake with lightning striking the lake and you just about pulling the rope off the motor. Dragging the bow case in to trick the neighbors into thinking we had a deer, only to have them raise the garage door and NOTHING being there. I could go on and on pops.

Sharon: I am so sorry for the loss of your husband. I remember when he used to bring cookies up to the staff at Niles High School--and they were so good. It's so sad to see friends and neighbors pass away. My condolences go out to your family.

I will always remember all the years I bowled with Don at White's Lanes in the Classic League. Always had a smile and a joke. Made me laugh. And seeing him around town always took the time to say hello. He fought a heck of a battle. My condolences to his family. His smile will be missed. RIP Don.
