Pamela J. Lower, 60 of Battle Creek, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Battle Creek to the late Elwood Franklin and Patricia (Barlond) Sayles. Pamela married Randy Lower on October 1, 1977. Pamela enjoyed being outdoors, especially fishing and camping. She mostly valued her family and loved every minute spent with her grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Randy; a brother, Gary Sayles; a sister, Brenda Abbott and two granddaughters, Julia and Dayana Lower. Pamela is survived by her children, Randy (Micki Kalisz) Lower, Kelli (Chaz) Weage, Krissi (Ferg) Fourn and Ricky (Jamie) Lower all of Battle Creek; fourteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her siblings, Danny Sayles, Shelley and Timmy as well as a host of nieces and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate Pamela’s life will be held on Friday, July 3, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior at New Hope Apostolic Church at 6900 E. Drive N. in Battle Creek, with Pastor Douglas Fleury officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to her daughter, Kelli Weage.
