Linda K. Beltz, 67, of Bridgman, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Brentwood Assisted Living with her husband by her side. On June 18, 1952 in Wayne County, West Virginia Linda was born to the late Archie and Fay (Fraley) Maynard. After graduating from West Tech High School in Cleveland, Ohio, Linda met, fell in love with and married Eric Beltz on April 24, 1976 at the Church of Christ in North Ridgeville, Ohio. Linda enjoyed the outdoors and loved tending to her flower gardens. She and Eric also looked forward to their frequent trips over the years which included many of the National Parks in the United States. Her easy going disposition and sweet personality served her well in her life and made her a perfect fit for the preschools where she had worked. Linda was well loved by her husband, family, and church. She is preceded in passing by her parents. Linda leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Eric, her sons Brian Beltz and Phillip Beltz both of Chicago, and Charles Beltz of Bridgman. She is also survived by her siblings, Jettie Gelsinger, Sara Earl, Teresa Maynard, Kathy Bowman, Mike (Nancy) Maynard, Larry (Kristin) Maynard, and Cindy (Gary) Herzberg, all of Ohio. Those wishing to make a memorial donation in honor of Linda have been asked to consider Alzheimer Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601. Due to the recent onset of COVID-19 and the health risks associated with it, Linda’s family will be having a private service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, Niles.
