Obituary of Lois Maxine Smith

Lois Smith, 86, of Niles, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Lois Smith was born on July 29, 1926 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Earl and Hazel (Arnold) Fetters.
On August 28, 1962 Lois married Kenneth C. Smith at a ceremony in Mishawaka, Indiana.
She was an active member of the First Missionary Church in Niles. Lois was the Treasurer on the church board. She enjoyed working outside, crocheting, embroidering and was an active member of "Take off Pounds Sensibly".
Lois is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Phillip Smith and sister Virginia Fetters.
She is survived by two sons, Ronald (Lisa) Smith of Niles and Thomas Smith of Niles, daughter Barbara Wishart of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
