Dear Gloria, Stacey, Paul, Pat and Robin So sorry to hear about the passing of Dick. I learned about it today. I wish I had known sooner so I could have helped you. You know how much you all have meant to me, especially during my first couple of years out of Notre Dame at the Niles Daily Star. I know my eye for good photos and good design were the result of Dick's mentorship. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you need anything. Richard coached our 1st Presbyterian Church-League Basketball team in the early 1950’s, when I was in high school. We only lost one or two games, and won the League Championship over six or seven other teams. Saw Richard & Gloria at Ken and Elaine (my aunt) Spray’s large Anniversary party in 2007 or thereabouts. Dick was the president of the Greater Niles Recreation Board when they built many parks in Niles including the St. Joseph River Park. He will be missed by family and community. Prayers for his family, especially Gloria and children. Miss you all. Terry
