Obituary of Joseph Michael Bakos

Joseph Michael Bakos, 47, of Stevensville, passed away on Friday, October 19, 2012 at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on Wednesday, October 17, 2012. Joseph was born on October 19, 1965 to Joseph and Marilyn (Skutka) Bakos in El Paso, Texas. He was one of eight children. After graduating from Morris Knoll High School he went on to attend County College of Morris and earned his Associates in Art. While working Joseph was also near completion of his Bachelors Degree in Arts. Joseph is survived by his parents Joseph Bakos Sr. and Marilyn (Skutka) Bakos both of Rockaway, New Jersey, children Michael Bakos of Stevensville, Michigan and Linnea Bakos of Atlanta, Georgia and siblings Irene (Robert) Gramp of Succasunna, New Jersey, Thomas (Christine) Bakos of Marlboro, New Jersey, Edward (Patricia) Bakos of Mannvile, New Jersey, Christopher (Jennifer Mackin) Bakos of Hopatcong, New Jersey, Steven (Christina) Bakos of Somerville, New Jersey, David (Patricia) Bakos of Jackson, New Jersey and Carolyn (Steven) Ugras of Haledon, New Jersey. Joseph has been cremated and his family is holding a memorial service Saturday, November 3rd at Sacred Heart Church in Rockaway, New Jersey.
