Obituary of Christopher R Heidinger

Christopher Heidinger, 66, of Niles, passed away at his home, with his family by his side, on Monday, March 23, 2020. Chris was born on December 25, 1953, to Michael and Cleo (Mitchell) Heidinger, of Sawyer. Chris proudly served his country during the Vietnam War as a member of the Army. He was also stationed in Germany. Chris was a car body repairman before going to work in R & D for Bosch in New Carlisle, and finally to Lippert Components in Goshen. Chris retired February 26, 2020. On January 11, 2007, Chris married Luanne Tillman in St. Joseph, Michigan. He is preceded in death by parents, Michael and Cleo Heidinger. Chris will be remembered lovingly by his wife, Luanne; children, Nikki (Mike) Snook of St. Joseph, Ashleigh (Lance) Sparks of Lindale, Texas, Mark Adams of Baroda, and Justin Payne of Niles; four grandchildren, Gillian, Breanna, Travis, and Khloe; siblings, Michael (Ruth) Heidinger of Buchanan, Wendy Foster of Sawyer, and Patricia Duncan of Doniphan, Missouri; niece, Cathy (John) Jarman; nephew, Matthew Heidinger; and many close friends and extended family members. Due to public health concerns, the family will be having a memorial service at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Niles.
