Obituary of Alison Kathryn Marie Sargent

Alison Kathryn Marie Sargent, 25, of Pennfield passed away unexpectedly on March 7th, 2020. Alison was born on October 3rd, 1994 to Kelli (Whitney) Vaughan and Darin Sargent. Alison attended Bellevue Schools. Alison was a loving daughter, sister, niece, granddaughter, cousin, friend, but above all an amazing mother to her daughters, Sophie and Hadi. Alison loved spending time with her family and friends. Alison had a special love for animals, especially cats. Alison enjoyed helping others and was always there whenever someone needed her. Alison was known for singing “You Are My Sunshine” to her girls while putting them to sleep. Alison was accepting and nonjudgmental to everyone. Alison was a free spirit, with an attitude, who will be greatly missed. Alison is survived by her daughters, Sophie Kelley and Hadi Conine; fiancé, Austin Conine; parents, Kelli and Todd Vaughan and Darin Sargent; two brothers, Zachary Sargent and Jace Vaughan; grandparents, Don and Kathy Whitney and Arlene Sargent; aunts and uncles, Erin (Dan) Burgess, D.J. (Gloria) Whitney, Tina (Mike) Bartlett, Kevin Wiser, Robin Sellen, and several others; cousins Megan (Mathew) Walters, Alissa Burgess, Abby Burgess, Brittie Whitney, Adeline Whitney, Kinsey Bartlett, and several others; Sophies father, Brandon Kelley, special friends, Kyle Brooks, Lilly Keck, Hunter Morales; and many other family members. Alison is preceded in death by her grandpa, Ken Sargent; great grandparent’s, Rick and Ruth Lawrence; and special friend, Cali Jo Osborn. A service will be held for Alison on Monday, March 16th, at 1:00pm at First Baptist Church in Bellevue. A visitation will be held from 11:00-1:00 prior to the service. A luncheon will be held after the service. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking any contributions be made to the Alison Kathryn Memorial Fund. The fund will be used for her daughters college educations. To donate please go to Independent Bank in Bellevue.
