Obituary of Vicki Lee Walls

Vicki S. Walls, 66, of Niles, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2020, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph, Michigan. Vicki was born on June 23, 1953, in Buchanan, Michigan, to the late Dana E. and Susan B. (Wolford) Walls. She retired from the USDA, after working for several years in the research department as an entomologist. When she was nineteen she met Sherry Judd, who would become her life partner of forty-seven years. They were married on July 22, 2016, at a ceremony in their God-daughters back yard. Vicki was very artistic and creative; she took great pride in creating special gifts for her friend and family. She enjoyed mushroom hunting and staying active. Vicki was a great friend to many, always there to listen, share a word of advice, or lend a helping hand. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister Nancy Wiggins. Vicki is survived by her wife Sherry Judd of Niles; son, Dave A. (Melisa) Judd of Alabama; grandchildren, Tara Oshiro and Dave Judd Jr; great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Oshiro; God-children, Tonya Ryder, and Robert (Pamela) Bryant; and nieces, Raydeane and Maria Wiggins; along with a host of friends.
