Obituary of Wanda Lee Saltzman

Wanda L. Saltzman, 63, of Dowagiac, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, January 23, 2020. Wanda was born on February 9, 1956, to the late Carl Dewayne and Mary Matildah (Foster) Saltzman. Wanda was a homemaker most of her life, enjoyed shopping, crocheting, and fishing with her husband, when she wasn’t taking care of her family. On October 24, 1992 Wanda married Verne Christensen at a ceremony in Dowagiac, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Saltzman Sr. and Mary Booth; her husband, Verne C. Christensen; and brother, Carl Saltzman Jr. Wanda is survived by her son, Brent (Anne) Christensen of Culver, Indiana; granddaughter, Rebecca; siblings, Frieda (Al) Dawes of Chester, Virginia, Carol Martin of Dowagiac, John (JoAnn) Saltzman of Chicago, Joan (Jose) Esquiva of Chicago, and Betty Hydorn of White Pigeon, Michigan; and many extended family members and close friends.
