Obituary of Jean Josephine Workman

Jean Workman, 95, of Niles, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2012 at West Woods of Niles. Jean Workman was born on October 3, 1917 in Crystal Falls, Michigan to the late Anthony and Mary (Renaldi) Frucci. She married the love of her life Donald Beecher Workman on February 21, 1941 at a ceremony in Niles. Jean is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Dominick Frucci, Anthony Frucci, sisters, Frances LaSkalla, Vicky Ellis, Nora Frucci, Mary Trafficanti, Trena Frucci, Rose Justice and Annie Gilbert. She is survived by eldest son, Larry Workman of Niles, his children Toby Workman, Kimberly Szmanowski and their mother Linda (Robert) Bauer of Niles, granddaughter Ashley Symanoswki and great-grandson Brody Symanowski ; Jean is also survived by son Anthony (Carol) Workman of Niles and their son Rodney Workman and a special friend Leah Marie Mondy. Jean and Don were avid golfers, enjoyed playing on the bowling leagues, and loved spending time gardening and growing flowers.
