Obituary of Rose Barnes

Rosemary “Rose” Leora Barnes, 29, of Niles, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2019, at her home.

Rose was born on August 21, 1990, to Donald and Josephine (Mervine) Barnes in Clarksville, Tennessee.

After graduating from Brandywine High School, Rose went on to attend Southwestern Michigan College. For the last several years, Rose was the manager at a Subway sub shop. She loved her cats, in her free time she enjoyed baking, and spending time with her daughter.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Donald and Rosemary Barnes, and Lester Mervine.

Rose is survived by her parents, Donald and Josie Barnes of Niles; daughter, Faith A. Barnes of Niles; sister, Samantha (Joseph McKenzie) Barnes of New Carlisle, Indiana; Christopher M. Barnes of Camp David, Wisconsin; and grandmother, Mildred Mervine.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, December 9, 2019, at Brown Funeral Home in Niles. A time of visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.

Memorial contributions in her memory may be directed to her family, in care of her father, Donald Barnes.
