Obituary of Robert Carroll Kincaid

Robert C. Kincaid Jr., 80, of Niles, formerly of South Bend, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2019.

He was born on May 1, 1939 in Mishawaka, Indiana to the late Robert C. Sr. and Jane (Guin) Kincaid.

After graduating high school, Robert attended Tri State College from September of 1958 until June of 1964. Robert enlisted in the U. S. Army, serving his country from July of 1962 unit July of 1964. January of 1965 he married Rose M. Myers. Robert retired after a successful career in Insurance. When not working, he enjoyed fishing and always looked forward to new technology, utilizing a computer from their inception. Robert’s faith was very important to him and was a member of Community Baptist Church in South Bend for over forty years and was a dedicated member of the choir.

He is survived by his three daughters, Ann (Todd) Schepman of Niles, Erin (Paul) Douglass of Niles and Rebekah (Jerry) Kincaid of Florida; four grandchildren and a brother, Jim (Joann) Kincaid of Goshen, Indiana.

In keeping with Robert’s wishes his family will be remembering him privately.
